Bilistick® System 2.0 is a portable Point of Care Bilirubin Assay able to provide early diagnosis of Neonatal Jaundice (Hyperbilirubinemia) by measuring Total Serum Bilirubin (TSB) concentration in whole blood samples.
The test requires collection of a small whole blood sample (35µL) directly from a heel stick or a test tube, by using the Sample Transfer Pipette, loading on a Test Strip inserted in the Reader.
Bilistick® is a reliable system to detect neonatal jaundice over a wide range of Bilirubin levels and the Bilistick® has a shorter turn round time and high accuracy and sensitivity for predicting Laboratory measured TSB.
Bilistick® has many Point of Care applications including the diagnosis of Jaundice in the Patient Home.
The Bilistick® can be used accurately in all Ethnicities and can be used before, during and after Phototherapy.
