The Horizon Brammi is a compact thermoregulation device designed for precise temperature control in neonatal patients. Built to support clinical management from cooling through to controlled rewarming, it delivers moderate hypothermia followed by slow, fully configurable rewarming, all through a single intuitive system.
A responsive 7" touchscreen sits at the heart of the unit, giving clinicians a clear, easy-to-follow interface with real-time temperature trends and step-by-step guidance for filling and draining. Settings can be adjusted on the fly during use, and a built-in back-up battery provides up to 1 hour of continued operation in the event of a power interruption.
Servo-controlled mode automatically adjusts mattress temperature to maintain a set target core temperature.
Mattress mode holds the mattress temperature steady, independent of the neonate's core temperature.
Cooling mode delivers servo-controlled cooling to a set target.
Warming mode delivers servo-controlled warming to a set target.
An intelligent alarm system provides both visual and audible alerts for body and mattress temperature, probe failure or displacement, and technical faults. The Brammi stores data for up to 10 patients, capturing set, core, skin and mattress temperatures alongside mode, therapy duration and alarms. All records export to .csv for review, documentation and external analysis.
