LiteAire® Disposable Spacer (MDI Holding Chamber)
    LiteAire Spacer

    Cardboard vs. Plastic:

    An Innovative Alternative

LiteAire's unique design delivers pop-up convenience and effective drug output at a fraction of the cost.

Published studies have shown that there is no clinically significant difference between Small Volume Spacers and Large Volume Spacers. 1, 2.

In nearly all clinical settings, the LiteAire dual-valved, collapsible, disposable holding chamber can reduce costs by replacing existing rigid plastic holding chambers with a cardboard alternative.

LiteAire's unique cardboard design allows it to be re-used by a patient over multiple doses for a period of 1 (one) week and was found to meet or exceed the performance of other small volume plastic spacers. 3.

    • Dual Valved
    • Pop-Up to Use
    • Portable / Stores Flat
    • Labelled for One Weeks Use
    • Environmentally Friendly - Recyclable Cardboard
    • No Water Wastage in Reprocessing Plastic Spacers
    • No Natural Latex

Situations ideal for the LiteAire to deliver real value to your facility:

Pulmonary Function Testing: clean, ready to use in a truly single patient use environment and reducing the risks of patient cross-contamination. Designed to accept all MDI adaptors.

Emergency Department / Out-Patients: patients who are already familiar with a holding chamber and arrive without their personal device. Ideal for isolation room conditions. Solves storage problems.

Short Term Respiratory Infections: a cost effective treatment method for the acute patient to more appropriately match the LiteAire (valved holding chamber) to their short-term needs.

Compliance Efforts: complies to single patient use labeling and regulations, enhanced infection control and greater patient compliance with added convenience and portability.

Quake® - Mucus Clearance Device (Vibratory PEP)
    Quake

The Quake is an innovative and unique device that provides mucus clearance therapy in a portable, easy-to-use, handheld device.

The Quake's soft touch handle allows the patient to regulate rotation frequency and vary percussive pressure differentials within the lungs during both inhalation and exhalation.

The Quake provides optimum performance in any device orientation and offers effective results due to its "Flow Independent" design.

The Quake allows for individualised therapy that meets each patient's mucus clearance needs.

    • Position-Independent
    • Flow-Independent
    • Patient Controlled by Rotation of Handle
    • Percussion on Inhalation and Exhalation
    • Portable
    • Hand-Held
    • Fits Standard 22mm Face Mask

Easy to clean: The Quake's simple, two-part design enables the user to easily and quickly disassemble and reassemble the Quake for cleaning. It can be cleaned with soap and water, boiled in water, or washed in a dishwasher.

The Quake is designed to meet the demanding mucus clearance needs of a variety of different types of patients, including:

    • Long-term, sputum-producing respiratory diseases
    • Short-term, sputum-producing respiratory infections

Vapotherm® High Flow Oxygen via Nasal Cannula
    Vapotherm

We are pleased to announce that the Vapotherm 2000i, the original and clinically proven high flow humidification system is now available again in Australia. There are now over 50 clinical studies published on Vapotherm.

The Vapotherm 2000i is a respiratory therapy device that allows high flows of breathing gases to be delivered via a nasal cannula or trans-tracheal cannula, using patented membrane technology to warm and saturate the gas stream.

The clinical benefits of flow are clear. But until Vapotherm, flows above 6 lpm were only possible with mask therapy. Higher flows through a nasal cannula were not possible due to extreme discomfort to the patient as well as other adverse effects.

Vapotherm's patented membrane technology makes higher flows - from 1 to 40 lpm - possible by saturating breathing gases with water vapour at body temperature. This heat and humidity allows nasal flows to be well tolerated by the patient. Now, there is no reason to trade off between efficacy and comfort.

Vapotherm allows the delivery of high flows at body temperature at close to 100% relative humidity providing effective, well-tolerated treatment for a variety of conditions requiring oxygen, warmth and moisture, without the use of a mask.

This concurrence of attributes -flow, humidity and warmth- permits the treatment of a broad range of indications:

    • HFT® High Flow Therapy, supplemental breathing gases as indicated for numerous chronic lung diseases, either to improve gas exchange or to reduce work of breathing.

    • Vapotherm's ability to efficiently moisturise and warm the flow expands options to include nasal and tracheal delivery of gas flow rates comfortably up to 40 liters per minute.

    • High humidity and warmth as indicated in upper airway inflammatory conditions.

    • Warmth delivered directly to the patient's core as indicated in hypothermia (accidental or post-operative).

    Features

    • Sophisticated Simplicity - Vapotherm systems produce dramatic results but are simple to operate and integrate into a variety of care settings.

    • Designed with ease of use and affordability in mind, the device can be set-up in minutes and is easy to maintain.

    • Delivers 95 to 100% relative humidity
    • Comprehensive alarms and indicators
    • Patented triple lumen delivery tube prevents rain-out and maintains the temperature of the gas without heated wire circuits
    • HFT® brand does not cool or dry patient airways
    • HFNC® brand cannula minimises rain out and interference with patient activities
    • Operating flow range from 1-40 lpm depending on application
    • 33-43°C output temperature
    • Compact and lightweight, attaches to an IV pole
    • Easy to use and set up
    • Single display monitors all system functions
